Here it is. November. The Holiday season is literally around the corner. Veterans day, Thanksgiving, Sinterklaas will come to visit on December 5th, Hanukkah starts December 16th, and then Christmas and then New Years!
I love this time of year. I know, every basic girl loves Fall. But, in my defense, it has always always always been my favorite time of year. There is something about the crisp in the air that puts a pep in my step. The colors turning on the trees, the cloudy days, the apple cider, the pumpkin everything…! It’s like my insides swell up with happiness and it can’t be contained.
Currently, we live in a state with an actual autumn (yay!) We lived in California for a few years, and there was absolutely no change of season there, which sucked majorly. What with last year moving around this time, plus with my anxiety being sky high, I couldn’t really appreciate the depth of the season. This year I am very into appreciating all of the nuances of this time of year.
Sorry that I’m rambling a bit – it’s only Tuesday night and it’s already been a long week.
